Do you remember when the most stressful thing you had to do around Christmas was learn a couple of lines for the nativity at school? (And beg your mum to buy you the popular toy that year!)
Those were the good old days! We have to deal with a different kind of adrenaline now. The adrenaline of rushing everyone to their various Christmas events, wading through the crowds of Christmas shoppers and making sureĀ everyone is happy.
As we prepare to buckle down and ride out the Christmas chaos, can I...
Does anyone remember watching 3D filmsĀ as a kid? You had to wear those paper glasses with one red lens and one blue. I remember sneaking a peek at the film without the glasses and seeing the distorted images that somehow magically became 3D with something as simple as blue and red lenses.
I have a point donāt worry! Say life is the film. Your mindset is the lens through which you interpret life. How you respond to what happens in your life depends on your mindset. Thatās how you make sense of ...
The term imposter syndrome has never sat right with me. Thatās not because Iāve gone through life with full confidence that I can do anything I set my mind to. I wish! Iāve had my doubts and fears. For example, fun, freedom and family are some of my values (not necessarily in that order!). When Iām making decisions in my business or personal life, I make sure my decision aligns with fun, freedom and family....
Have you ever reached the realisation that you've completely lost touch with yourself? You donāt know who you are anymore. It hits you like a ton of bricks. I had that revelation a few years back. I had moulded myself to fit other peopleās expectations of me. At the same time, I had eroded my sense of self and who I truly was.Ā
It was a lightbulb moment that something needed to change. I wanted to be myself. But I had no idea who that was, I needed to sort my real self out from who I had become...
